Spellcast Trait: Presence

Alter your surroundings to enhance your presence.

Foundation

Redecorate: You can take a few minutes and spend a Hope to alter the look of the space you are in, changing the lighting in the room, the color and presentation of objects, and other minor illusory changes until the scene ends.

Place a number of tokens equal to your Spellcast trait on this card. While the room is altered in this way, you can spend a token to give advantage to you or an ally's Presence Roll to interact with those occupying the space.

Specialization

Best Dressed: You can never be granted disadvantage on Presence Rolls due to your appearance.

Moment of Peace: Once per long rest, you can take a few minutes to create a tranquil space for you and your allies. Each of you can choose a single Short Rest move. The GM does not gain any Fear as a result.

Mastery

Mind Palace: Once per rest, you can mark a Stress to alter your surroundings to an extraordinary degree. Until the end of the scene, you can perform each of the following alterations once each:

  • Dress Down: Target an adversary within Far range. Reduce their major and severe thresholds by 10.

  • Fortify: Create an obstacle within Far range. Adversaries have disadvantage on attack rolls against you and allies within Melee range of that obstacle.

  • Renovate: Create or remove an object that would help/hinder your ability to traverse the area around you (at the GM's discretion).
