About this ancestry
Bearfolk are humanoids resembling bears. They have bulky features, long claws, and nubby tails. Their fur is white, brown, or black, with "panda" coloration also seen. Bearfolk are heavy sleepers, snoring outrageously loud while also being entirely unawakenable. [What sends you over the edge?|How do you afford all your food?]
Design Notes: A bear ancestry should naturally go all-in on survivability, hence both Lumbering and Deep Nap. Lumbering is an eye-popping feature, but it's quite balanced. Compare a Bear that takes Evasion during a levelup to a Giant that takes a Hit Point during a levelup.
Bearfolk
Bearfolk are humanoids resembling bears.
Lumbering: Gain 2 permanent Hit Point slots, and gain a permanent -1 penalty to Evasion.
Deep Nap: As a downtime move you can take once per rest: Roll 2d4, add your tier, and clear that much in any combination between Stress and Hit Points.
