About this ancestry
Batfolk have all the characteristic features of bats. Leathery wings, large thin ears, and distinctive fangs. It's common to see large ruffs of fur on their chests and necks. Each individual batfolk has their own relationship with being upside-down: some find it quite comfortable while others get dizzy. [Does being upside-down make you relaxed, or dizzy?|What's everyday sound is ear-piercingly annoying for you?]
Design Notes: There's only so many times you can give an ancestry flight. Flutter remixes the idea a bit: it's a bit like a supercharged version of the Faun's Caprine Leap, but requires marking Stress. Echolocation is a must-have feature for bat characters, I think. This feature power creeps on Katari's Claws, but I'm ok with that.

Flutter: Mark a Stress to stretch out your wings. Until your next rest, you can hover in midair, control the speed of your fall, and flutter over gaps and obstacles while using your normal movement.
Echolocation: You can emit waves of sound that allow you to see in the dark and locate the invisible. When you emit an ear-piercing shriek against an adversary within Close range, make a Finesse Roll against their difficulty. On a success, they become temporarily Vulnerable.
