About this ancestry
Deerfolk are humanoids resembling deer, elk, and other antlered animals. Their antlers range in size and shape from fur-covered nubs to massive antlers with ornate branches and spirals. Individuals with larger antlers must employ special tailoring of their clothes and headgear: but with proper fitting, it's impossible to tell their equipment is special at all. [How are your clothes and headgear tailored?|What were you taught to fear from a young age?]
Design Notes: A bad habit that can occur when designing ancestries is giving them features that simply move metacurrencies around, rather than trying to come up with new and interesting ways for PCs to interact with the world - that's why I made sure Awareness would be a thing. Perseverence exists because I had never seen an ancestry feature that interacts with conditions before.
Deerfolk
Deerfolk are humanoids resembling deer, elk, and other antlered animals.
Perseverance: When an adversary would inflict you with one or more conditions, the GM must spend a Fear or else you are unaffected by those conditions.
Awareness: You can sense if there are hostile creatures within Far range, even if they are hidden or out of sight.
