Humanoid Slime

Transformations Designed by VGCKenny

About this transformation

Humanoid Slimes come from when a humanoid fuses with a Slime of some kind, and gains the properties of Slime. They become translucent, and take on a stark, vibrant color for all their natural features. They can change size, and form, and they can squeeze into spaces, and bind people easier. However, they aren't entirely structurally sound. If something affects their bodies the wrong way, they can start to decompose, and fall apart, and need to focus to put themselves back together.

Features

Malleable

You have advantage on Finesse checks to squeeze into spaces, as well as checks to grapple a creature. You may Mark a Stress to change your size or shape, but cannot make functional hands to increase your Burden. You may Mark a Stress to reduce incoming damage by one Threshold.

Maintain Shape

Under extreme conditions (harsh weather, underwater, a large sonic force, ect.), you must Mark a Stress, or roll with Disadvantage until the end of the scene. If you have all your Stress marked, you roll with Disadvantage until you clear at least one Stress.

Transformation questions

  1. Did another slime creature change you? If not, who did?
  2. Did you accept the transformation, or was it thrust upon you?
  3. How long after your transformation did it take you to manifest your form?
  4. Your body is now mostly comprised of shades of a vibrant color. Which color, and why do you suppose that it?
  5. Someone from where you grew up is known for fighting slimes. Does this scare you, or do you feel like you can convince them of your humanity?
  6. Do you miss being solid? Or does being liquid suit you more?
