Wild Magic Infused

Transformations Designed by VGCKenny

About this transformation

Wild Magic Infused are beings who have become influenced by Wild Magic. They can momentarily tame the magic within them, but eventually, the magic strikes back. But it is wild, so it could be beneficial. Or it could not. It all comes down to Chance.

(Make your own, if you so choose. I'm not great at balancing what should, and should not occur on a table like this. I'm also not great at putting flavor-only things in. I didn't want to come up with a d100 list, and since you're using a d20 anyway, I figured it makes sense to do that. Also, I think this makes sense as a transformation. I know people want it as a subclass, because that's how it is in D&D, but I think Daggerheart is good at breaking down D&D, and other tabletop games, into component parts, and using them in ways that make sense, even if they aren't 1-to-1.)

Features

Wild Magic Surge

Place a d20 on this card starting at 1. Whenever you roll with Fear, increase the number by one. During a rest, you may spend an activity to lower the die by your Tier. When the die reaches 20, roll a d20, and take the result on the Wild Magic Surge Table. Then reset the die to 1.

Wild Magic

You may increase the d20 by 1 on a successful attack to add 1d12 magic damage to a damage roll. It becomes 2d12 at level 5, and 3d12 at level 8. You may also increase the d20 by 1 to reduce incoming damage by 1 threshold. You may recall Domain Cards by raising the d20 the number equal to the card's recall cost.
