About this environment
A vilage nestled inside the Moving Briar or Bloodbriar, as it is called amongst the town’s inhabitants. As the Briar is constantly moving at a pace of about 2km per day, everything in the village is fixed to the bushes and vines the giant bramble consists of. Housing, workshops and even most walkways are made of segmented wood planks, salvaged elsewhere in the Sablewood, that have been artfully affixed to a myriad of anchor points within the briars.
Anybody not on a structure or walkway will need to regularily move a few feet or risk being stung by the moving thorny bushes.
Open fires are lit in metal bowls that are also tied to a structure, to be dragged behind it at the pace of the bush.
