A bright afterimage of the last Brightwing Empress, left to defend the vault of the palace, that has been invigorated by druidic energy.
This boss encounter is the echo of the final Brightwing Empress, left to guard her most precious treasures in the palace vault. In this final form, it should move into more aggressive tactics, swooping around the battlefield and trying to avoid being surrounded.
This adversary can be spotlighted up to 3 times per GM turn. Spend Fear as usual to spotlight them.
The Echo can fly Far range without making an Agility roll.
Mark a Stress to raise the Echo's difficulty to 22. If the Echo takes major damage, the Chrysalis shatters and the difficulty returns to normal.
Mark a Stress to trigger a Presence reaction roll for all enemies in close range. Any who fail gain the Aura status condition (removed when the character next spends a Hope or when Wrath Of The Thousand Eyes triggers). You gain a Fear for each failure.
When this adversary makes a successful attack against a PC, you gain a Fear.
When cocooned, start a countdown (6). When the countdown expires, everyone within Far range marks a Stress and makes an agility roll. On a fail, they take 2d12+10 damage, half damage on a success. Any target marked with Aura rolls their agility roll with disadvantage and marks an extra Stress, but then loses their Aura condition.
