The Lifestone is the original and first artefact ever found on Heart of Daggers and scholars across the the lands of Midkemia believed it to be a myth and only a legend.

Itself is described as a vast, circular monolith of translucent green crystal, its broad, flat crown gleaming with facets that shimmer like an emerald set aflame from within. It pulses with an eerie inner light — not merely reflected radiance, but a living glow that seems to breathe, as though the stone itself were aware of those who draw near.

Its purpose is nothing less than cataclysmic. The Valheru intended the Lifestone to harvest the very essence of existence — to draw life and magic alike from every living creature upon Midkemia, down to the smallest insect, and channel that energy into a single, devastating surge. Through it, they would rip open the veil between worlds, annihilating all life while paving the way for their return.
