This adversary is meant to be used with the SPIDER “MOTHER” who is controlling their bodies with the threads attached to their limbs. Upon critical success rolls or rolls with Hope, GM may provide clues as to the plight of these living puppets. Evidence of the threads may be apparent and PCs may choose to attack the threads to cut the individuals free as opposed to killing them outright.
Once reduced to 0hp, will pop back up as a Fighter Puppet (Dead)
Mark a Stress to attempt to scream for help (15 or higher on d20). A failure may be misinterpreted as a battle cry.
Spend a Fear to move the living puppet to a location within Far range.
Spend a Fear to make two Melee attacks.
Upon a failed Melee attack mark a Stress to immediately reroll the attack (representing Motheru2019s tug).
