The Arch Gargoyles were created by sky wizards who wished to improve the defenses of their airborne fortresses. Many lie in wait for warm blood to pass within range of their powerful claws to strike.
While flying the Arch Gargoyle gains a +2 bonus to their Difficulty.
When you spotlight the Arch Gargoyle and they don't have a token on their stat block, they can't act yet. Place a token on their stat block and describe what they're preparing to do. When you spotlight the Arch Gargoyle and they have a token on their stat block, clear the token and they can act.
The Arch Gargoyle is vulnerable to physical damage when under direct sunlight, and resistant to physical damage when not.
Spend a Fear to make an attack against all targets within Very Close range. Targets the Arch Gargoyle succeeds against become Vulnerable and mark a Stress from the gargoyles discordant scream. A target can end the condition with a successful Strength roll.
When a PC rolls a Success with Fear or a Failure with Hope, add a token to the Arch Gargoyle's stat block.
