    When a PC enters the Quicksand Trap, set a d6 countdown, starting on 3. Add this die's value to the difficuly of the Quicksand Trap. Whenever a player makes a roll to escape the Quicksand Trap:

    Success with hope: tick down 2
    Success with fear: tick down 1
    Failure with hope: tick up 1
    Failure with fear: tick up 2

    If the countdown reaches 0, the players are free. If the countdown reaches 6, the players are Trapped.

    In order to move, players need to make a Finesse Roll.
