Mage Knight

Spellcast Trait: Strength

Play the Mage Knight if you want to strike with magic and muscle to a terrifying degree.

Foundation

Magic: Once per long rest when you take magic damage you can Mark a Stress to reduce the severity by one threshold and clear an armour slot

Might: Mark a Stress to become empowered until the end of the scene, placing a d6 with the ‘1’ facing up on this card. When you successfully attack an adversary you can add the current value of your empowered die to the damage roll and then increase its value by 1.

Specialization

Doom Blade: You can add your proficiency to your damage rolls.

Absorbed Armour: When you finish a long rest, place tokens equal to your proficiency on this card. You use your “Magic” feature by removing a token on this card instead of once per long rest. All tokens currently on this card are removed on a long rest.

Mastery

For the Greater Good: When you succeed on an attack with your bound weapon you can Give the GM a Fear to force the target to mark an additional Hit Point.

Dancing Blade

Spellcast Trait: Agility

Play The Dancing Blade if you want to dance across the field with an echo of your weapon.

Foundation

Echo’d Weapon: Spend a Hope to summon an echo of your active weapon(s) within close range. When you make an action roll, you may move the echo’d weapon up to a close distance. If the echo’d weapon leaves close range from you, it disappears.

Partnered Strike: You may attack as if in the echo’d weapon space. Mark a stress when you or the echo’d weapon attack to target an additional adversary within the other’s range.

Specialization

A Step in their shoes: Mark a Stress: to swap locations with your echo weapon, gaining your choice of amplified or charged

Mastery

Perfect sync: You can cast spells from echos space.

Dance of Alacrity: Gain a permanent 1 bonus to your evasion.
