Operative
Spell trait: KnowledgePlay the Operative if you want to use your expertise in a specific field to accomplish tasks with ease.
A Job is a Job: Decide an organization that you work for and come up with your role within the organization. Choose one of your Experiences that best aligns with this organization or role. At the beginning of a session, place 5 tokens on this card. You can spend one of these tokens instead of a Hope to utilize that Experience on a roll, regaining the token if you critically succeed. At the end of each session, clear all unspent tokens.
Not Good Enough: When you fail any non-attack action roll, you can spend a Hope to reroll. You can continue spending Hope to reroll as many times as you’d like until you roll a success.
Moving On Up: Place 6 tokens on your Operative Foundation card at the beginning of a session per your "A Job is a Job" feature, instead of 7.
Hiding in Plain Sight: If you are donning a mundane or supernatural disguise, you are considered Cloaked even if you are not stationary or are within an adversary’s line of sight. This benefit ends against all adversaries that can see you after you make an attack or your disguise is dropped or revealed. Donning a different disguise while you are Cloaked can restore this benefit.
Company Loyalty: Place 7 tokens on your Operative Foundation card at the beginning of a session per your “A Job is a Job” feature, instead of 8.
Pure Skill: Gain a permanent +1 bonus to all of your Experiences.
Perfection: Whenever you roll your Duality Dice, roll a d20 as well. When the unmodified result of this d20 is a 20, the roll is treated as a critical success regardless of the results on the Duality Dice. Otherwise, this die provides no benefit regardless of its result.
