About this ancestry
Trolls are towering, broad-shouldered humanoids marked by coarse hair, tusks, and skin that ranges from mossy green to stone gray. Their tusks and their amount of hair vary from one troll to another. Their bodies regenerate wounds with uncanny speed, though fire and acid leave lasting scars. Despite their fearsome looks, many trolls value endurance, loyalty, and survival over cruelty. Slow to trust yet fiercely protective once bonded, a troll’s word is as enduring as their flesh. They live around 80 years, though some claim their hearts beat longer still.

Trolls are hardy, hairy, tusked humanoids renowned for their resilience.
Regenerative: Before making an action, if you have marked HP, you may mark a Stress to clear 1 HP. You cannot do this if the last damage you took was from fire or acid.
Possesive: When an adversary within Very Close range attacks an ally or attempts to move past from you, you may mark a Stress to force them to make an Instinct Reaction Roll (13). On a failure, they must target you with their next action during this GM turn instead.
