The Giant Eel is a lurking predatory creature that bides its time waiting for the best opportunity to attack its prey. It stays submerged and out of site until the time is right and then it strikes.
Usually found in large bodies of water but prefers shallow areas where it can prey upon surface dwelling food sources versus the more dangerous deep ocean predators.

The Giant Eel is a patient predator and waits until the time is right to attack its prey. When it is not attacking a player it cannot be targeted or affected by magic.
When it attacks it surfaces and is able to be targeted until it spotlights again and submerges.

The Giant Eel lunges from under the water and attempts to bit a player and haul that player underwater. If the attack is successful the character suffers d10+4 physical damage and is restrained.
Spotlight the Eel again to have it submerge with the player.Create a breathing countdown for the player.

Toying with prey
Instead of attacking its prey directly the Giant Eel can nudge boat with its large body.. Doing so will not hurt a player but may cause anyone on the boat to fall overboard. If the Eel takes this action have all players on board the boat to make an Agility reaction roll. Failure results in the player having to mark a stress. Failure with Fear results in that player falling overboard.
