Adversary overview

Cunning opponents relish striking foes who are distracted or unaware

Draconians are bipedal monsters born from metallic dragon eggs that have been corrupted by a combination of warped alchemy and the Dragon Queen’s foul magic. The Dragon Armies closely guard the secret of the draconians’ creation, allowing Krynn’s metallic dragons to continue to think their eggs are being held hostage so they don’t oppose the Dragon Queen’s conquests.

Actions

  • Glide
    stress 1

When the draconian falls it can instead mark a stress and glide to the ground safely

  • Paralytic Salivia
    fear 1

Kapaks often coat their weapons with their paralytic saliva. Spend [1] Fear and coat the blade prior to attacking. If the attack is successful it deals 1d6 extra damage and the opponent is restrained.

Reactions

  • Death Throes

When the draconian is reduced to 0 hit points, it dissolves into acid that splashes on those around it within very close range. Each opponent must make an Agility reaction roll [ 13] or be covered in acid. A creature covered in the acid takes (2d6) acid damage and must mark 1 stress. An opponent can attempt to remove the acid by making another Agility reaction roll but each failure results in 1d6 damage and must continue to mark stress as above until they either perish or nullify the acid. An ally can spend a hope to immediately nullify the acid.
