About this weapon
The staff has the appearance of an ornate walking stick with a blue gem affixed to the top. It has the ability to create two portals of blue light that are connected to each other. Portals can appear on a moving surface, but the effect ends when the two portals move out of Very Far range from each other. You can close both portals (ending the effect) or suppress one portal causing it to disappear until you relocate it, during which time the remaining portal can’t be used.
This staff has 4 charges and regains 1d4 charges at short rest, full 4 charges at long rest.
