Cliff Racers are scaly flying creatures with bird-like heads. They possess no legs. Instead they have dorsal and ventral fins. The lack of legs makes it almost impossible to take off by themselves and require the aid of another to lift them up in the air.
They usually fly very high up in the sky and dive down towards the ground only when they spot prey.
While airborne, the Cliff Racer gains +3 difficulty.
While on the ground, the Cliff Racer is vulnerable and unable to take off by itself.
While attacking, if it's the Cliff Racer's first attack of the scene, it deals an extra d8 physical damage.
Spend a fear to move to a grounded Cliff Racer at close range and help them take off. They are airborne again and no longer vulnerable.
After taking damage, mark a stress. When all stress is marked, the Cliff Racer falls to the ground.
