The trio of ghosts spawn with 1 HP and are individually defeated on the first successful attack. If not defeated in the correct chronological order, they resummon with an additional HP. Use environmental clues (such as the clock tower) to signal this combat puzzle.

Make an attack roll against a close target. On a success, the Forest Wraith flies into melee and places their hand upon the target’s cheek. Ask the player to describe a terrifying moment from their character’s childhood. Then deal 3d4+9 magic damage and make them Vulnerable until their next rest.

Make an attack roll at far range. On a success, the Spirit of Khormas Past lashes out with spectral chains that Slows the target and causes them to mark a stress. If combined with chains from another Spirit, the target is Vulnerable and Slowed. If combined with chains from the other two Spirits, the target is Vulnerable and Restrained.
