One of my players made a roll with Fear, leading me to ask him on the fly for an amphibious creature in the Lucent River. His answer was…the Hareing. Now immortalized with its own stat block for our Dying Spire run or Sablewood campaigns.
While in the water, all successful attacks against the hareing deal half damage.
Mark a Stress to have the the hareing launch out of the water and attach itself to a creature within Very Close range. They must make a Strength reaction roll. On a failure, the creature takes 2d4 physical damage and is Restrained. On a success, the creature marks a Stress.
Once per scene, spend a Fear to have a creature re-roll a successful attack against the Hareing with disadvantage as it plays dead.
