TACTICAL BEHAVIOR:
Kelana Awan rarely begins an encounter in the open.

It watches from the canopy, identifies an isolated or vulnerable target, then strikes before retreating into the trees.

Typical sequence:
Observe → Eyes in the Dark → Hide → Canopy Dive → Shadow Retreat

If the party becomes separated or fails to protect a vulnerable member, Kelana Awan escalates with Hunter from Above, spending Fear to deliver a devastating ambush.

Kelana Awan does not fight to the death unless its territory is directly threatened. When badly wounded, it prefers to disappear into the canopy and wait for another opportunity.

    The target must make an Instinct Reaction Roll (14).

    On a failure, the target becomes Vulnerable until they next act.

    If the target is isolated from their allies, Kelana Awan may immediately become Hidden if suitable cover is available.
