Senmo
The Child of Malgrotha
Motives & Tactics: Ambush, Hunt, Devour
The Child of Malgrotha
Every now and then, Malgrotha tears at its own body in mindless rage, rending a piece of its own flesh. This flesh then wriggles and grows, sprouting limbs and talons of its own as it struggles to its feet and lurches into the forest to hunt. These are the Children of Malgrotha, and they tirelessly search the forest for their mother. They believe that every dara is the First Dara—the being that imprisoned their mother in the Crawling Canopy and who has the key to releasing them from this moving prison.
Anytime Senmo is Spotlighted, it makes two Talons attacks.
Senmo has advantage on attacks and reaction rolls made against any creature that is hidden, flying, or otherwise vulnerable.
Senmo flaps its twisted wings, unleashing a flurry of sharp, magical feathers. As an Action, Senmo can mark 2 Stress and each Creature with Close range must make an Agility roll, taking 18 (4d8) phy damage and marked as Vulnerable on a failure, or half as much and not Vulnerable on a success.
Senmo can, as Reaction to attacks, cast Chain Lightning taking 1 Stress. Unleashing lightning on all targets within Close range. Targets Senmo succeeds against must make a reaction roll with a Difficulty of 14. Targets who fail take 2d8+4 magic damage. Additional creatures not already targeted by Chain Lightning and within Close range of previous targets who took damage must also make the reaction roll. Targets who fail take 2d8+4 magic damage. This chain continues until there are no more adversaries within range.
