Its body is wrong—a hulking mass of muscle and bone wrapped in pale, bark-like growths that twist and pierce through its own flesh. Jagged spines curl from its shoulders and spine, as though something inside it tried to escape and failed. The surface of its skin looks half-organic, half-corrupted, veined with dark tendrils that twitch as if alive.

Whatever it once was—person, guardian, spirit—it has been hollowed out and repurposed. Bound to violence. Sustained by a broken magic that refuses to let it die. As it straightens, the air grows heavy, the Weave itself tightening like a noose.

And somewhere deep within its chest, you feel it:

A presence that hates being awake—
