Whenever a PC fails an attack roll, gain a Fear.
This adversary can be spotlighted up to 3 times per GM turn. Spend Fear as usual to spotlight them.
Spend a Fear to have the Nightmare Witch push her long fingernails into the forehead of a foe in melee range. The target must make an Instinct Reaction Roll. On a failure, they succumb to their worst nightmare(s) which they must describe, take 1D4 Stress and 1D20+4 Damage.
Spend a fear and make an attack role against a target in far range to put the target into a Cursed Sleep until either they take take any damage. If the entire party are in a Cursed Sleep at the same time, they all mark 2 Hit Points and awaken, clearing the condition.
When an enemy is damaged by Dreaded Fear, you may spend 1 Stress to heal the Witch of Nightmares by 1D4 health.
