About this ancestry
Centaurs have the upper bodies, down to the waist, of muscular humans, displaying all the human variety of skin tones and features. Their ears are slightly pointed, but their faces are wider and squarer than those of elves. Below the waist, they have the bodies of large horses, with a similar range of coloration - from various shades of chestnut or bay to even zebra like striped patterns.
They stand around 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and weighed approximately 2,100 pounds (950 kilograms).
Although some are solitary, centaurs generally live in tribal hunter-gatherer societies. Those that feel a sense of wanderlust to explore the world make excellent companions, and occasionally would offer a ride to allies.
