About this ancestry
Gargoyles, chimeras, grotesques- whatever the name, these easily identified folk stand out for their stonehewn skin and tendency to turn into statues during daylight. While not notably forced into immobility, many do it as a way to protect themselves, as their stony bodies can resist tempestuous winds and torrential rain with ease. When it comes to an actual culture, Gargoyles adapt to those around them. From high flying protectors of townships to solitary guards of long forgotten castles, crypts, and the like, they form easy bonds with their fellows.
Some gargoyles may have cuts or hollow bodies, designed to perch in specific spots to channel water off buildings. Many have described it as a weird sensation but some enjoy it as a part of giving back to their community.
Gargoyle

Carved Form: Your body is made of some kind of hard material, usually stone like granite or marble. You treat your base Damage Thresholds as 2 higher. In addition, you can become indistinguishable from a statue by staying still.
Stoneflight: You have functional- if heavy- wings. You can fly naturally, and can use a burst of speed by Marking a Stress to move up to Far as an action.
