About this ancestry
House griffons are a race of small, feli-avian creatures with human level intelligence. They are named as such due to being no larger than a house cat (even at their most extreme), and as such many have come to find mutual living arrangements with humanoids across the realms.
Most house griffons are usually jokesters, mischief makers, and pranksters, though never to the extent of dealing any intentional harm. They love a good joke and slapstick comedy, and many have become performers to sell this love of the act to the world. Famous names include The Gooscellent Oswald, Phineas Phinch, and The Black Swan- all celebrated for different roles in the arts. If a house griffon isn't making a joke that often, they may be depressed or stressed out.
Their gear must be specially fitted to their quadrupedal frame. Most House Griffons can maintain a two legged stance with training, but they prefer weapons they can swing with one paw. Due to their unassuming nature, one may even be mistaken as a true house pet or a familiar until they speak, revealing their intelligent nature.
