Astromancer

About this class

Astromancers are wanderers of the world and scholars of the heavens, charting the movements of stars to better understand the paths that lie ahead. With one foot in the wild and the other among the constellations, they explore the world through the paths set out before them by the universe itself.

An Astromancer sees the night sky as a living map. Every constellation is a landmark, every celestial movement a warning, and every eclipse a secret waiting to be understood. Through careful observation and ancient divination, they can glimpse possible futures, uncover hidden paths, and guide their allies toward destinies yet unwritten.

Whether standing beneath an open sky with a star-chart in hand or navigating a treacherous wilderness by constellations known only to them, Astromancers are explorers of both the world below and the heavens above.

The stars do not tell them what will happen. They show them where the path may lead.

Class features

  • Lunar Cartographer

As long as you can see the sky you are always aware of your direction and place amongst the cosmos. When rolling to navigate or discern a direction, you may do so at advantage if you can see the sky.1

  • Constellation Weaver

You no longer just observe the stars but instead have learned to channel their patterns into your own magic.

At the beginning of a session, choose a constellation from your Star Chart below:

    * The Hunter: +1 to damage against a target that has already marked HP.

    * The Crown: +1 to Presence when commanding or inspiring.

    * The Serpent: +1 to rolls involving deception or stealth.

    * The Shield: +1 to Armor Score.

    * The Warden: +1 to rolls made while aiding or protecting someone.

During a rest you may choose to change the constellation you are channeling.
