Hope feature

Vampiric Monstrosity
Spend 4 hope to transform into a horrific vampiric monstrosity until the end of the scene; You gain 1 Blood token, +1 Evasion, +1 to all Action rolls, and add your number of Blood tokens to your Damage thresholds. Whenever you would gain Hope in this form, you gain a Blood token instead, and you may spend Blood tokens as if they were Hope.

Class features

  • Born of the Night

    You gain the Vampire transformation when you take this class with the following changes:
    - Your Fangs damage increases to d8 at level 5 and d10 at level 8. Add your choice of Strength or Agility to the damage roll.
    - The number of tokens you can hold from your Feed ability (Hereafter referred to as 'Blood tokens' increases by your Tier.
    - *Viscera.* You gain 1 Blood token whenever you roll a Critical success on an Action roll, and anytime you mark 3 or more hit points from a single attack.

  • Sanguimancy

    When you have 6 or more Blood tokens, and use your *Feed* feature, you roll your Hope die as a d20 instead of your Fear die. You gain additional ways to spend your Blood tokens.
    1 - Flight; You can fly until the end of the scene, and can move up to Far range when you activate this ability.
    2 - Creatures of the Night; You summon a companion as per the Find Familiar domain card, and can choose for it to be a flying companion at no additional cost.
    3 - Drink; You heal a hit point or clear a stress.
    Tier 3 -
    5 - Turn; When you successfully attack a target with your Fangs feature, you may spend 5 Blood tokens. After the target's next rest, they gain the Vampire transformation.
    Tier 4 -
    7 - Crimson Feast; Your next successful Fangs attack becomes a critical success regardless of the duality dice.
