Soulforge

About this class

Some people in this world possess souls that are so deep and vast that they act as incubators, developing objects within themselves that can manifest in the material world. These beings are known as Soulforges, and the most important tool they will manifest is their Soul Weapon- a unique armament whose abilities and ornamentations are a direct reflection of the Soulforge’s soul. Soulforges that are more upbeat and light tend to channel smooth, aethereal energy through their Soul Weapon, whereas more solemn Soulforges with an unstable demeanor tend to channel rough, abyssal energy instead. No matter the energy channeled, Soulforges are useful as long as their souls remain intact, undisturbed, and consistent.

Class features

  • Soulforged Objects

Make a Spellcast Roll (10). On a success, you manifest a mundane item that’s useful to your situation. Work with the GM to figure out what item you forge from your soul. This object fades one hour after you manifest it or when you manifest another mundane item using this feature.

  • Soul Weapon

When you choose your starting equipment during character creation, instead of selecting a weapon from the Tier 1 Weapon Tables, you gain a Soul Weapon- a magic weapon forged from the depths of your soul, which uses the following statistics:
    -NAME: Soul Weapon
-TRAIT: (Choose when you gain this weapon)
    -RANGE: Close
    -DAMAGE: d8 mag
    -BURDEN: Two-handed
