Features

Passives

  • Finding Our Way

The party must navigate the House. Start a Countdown (6). Each time a PC rolls a Success with Hope, decrease it by 1. When the Countdown reaches 0, they manage to find the right room.

  • Burning Sunlight

Sunlight in this corrupted realm causes severe burns. A PC attempting to move through the sunlight must make an Agility Roll to dodge through fast enough to avoid being burned. On a failure, they take 1d10+4 physical damage.

  • Rotten Candy

Piles of candy are stacked against walls and in corners, and scattered across the floor. A PC who consumes the candy must make a Strength Reaction Roll. On a failure, they must mark a Stress.

Actions

action
  • Teddy Bear Mayhem
    Fear 1

There is a hallway with hundreds of teddy bears scattered through it. Spend a Fear to have the teddy bears awaken, grasping at targets within Melee range and dragging them down. Targets are Restrained until they succeed on a Strength Roll to break free.

  • Not As It Seems
    Fear 1

The deeper into the House, the darker it gets. Once per scene, spend a Fear to reduce visibility in the House, increasing the difficulty of this Environment by 1. The vision fades and the truth is revealed as paint begins peeling off the walls and cries begin to echo through the halls.

Reactions

  • Shifting Halls

When a PC rolls a Failure with Fear, the Hall shifts to a different place in the House and the Finding Our Way Countdown increases by 1.

  • Dreamcase

A glowing box sits in the centre of a room, light emanating from it. A PC can attempt to open it with a Strength or Spellcast Roll. On a success the case swings open, revealing a weapon or armour suited to the PCs tier. On a failure, add a token to this feature. When this feature has two tokens, the Dreamcase transforms into a Battle Box adversary and is immediately spotlighted.
