    A feature or action that clears HP requires spending a Hope to use. If it already costs Hope, a PC must spend an additional Hope or a Stress.

  • Shallow Stream

    A shallow stream passes through an open section of the tunnels. PCs passing through may be bitten by leeches, poisoning them and causing them to have Disadvantage on all Action rolls until removed. A player can mark a stress to remove the leeches.

    Spore pods swell in the ground, pulsing like heartbeats. Explode within very close range 2d4 damage.

    A nearby mushroom explodes releasing spore into the air. Each player in close range of the mushroom must make a Strength check on a failure the player is infected with spores and replace their Hope Dice with a d6 untill they roll a success.

    Shadowy skeletal hands reach for living beings passing through the passage. 

    ATK: +1

    A target hit by an attack is restrained and slowly pulled to the wall and eventually engulfed. 

    Every time a retrained character makes an action roll, or when they or an ally tries to free them and fails, the restrained character marks 1 stress.

About this environment

Natural caves tunnels give way to eerie stone halls with acloves for the burried dead. The air is damp and the unnatural cold seeps into the soul.
