    Spend 3 Fear to cause the mushrooms to pulse rapidly, charging up a wave of assimilating spores. Activate a Progress Countdown (5) as the mushrooms try to restrain the PCs and prepare them for assimilation. To complete the countdown and escape the meadow, the PCs must persuade the colony or face their darkest memories and waves of assimilated creatures as they make their exit.
