The Spell Thief knows their party with an intellectual intimacy, able to draw upon their powers in a moment only when they’ll most need it- For it is a stressful process that requires their utmost diligence.

Spellcast Trait: Knowledge

Wield stolen magic to overpower your foes.

Foundation

Borrowed Knowledge: Once per scene, mark 2 stress to use a domain card spell in another player's loadout using their Spellcast trait.

Step In My Shoes: You may swap places with the player's character you used "Borrowed Knowledge" from before or after casting the spell, if they are willing.

Specialization

Inspired Adept: You may use your own Spellcast trait for spells cast with "Borrowed Knowledge".

Familiar Feeling: If the result of a Reaction Roll would deal you Magic damage, clear a stress.

Mastery

Eager Student: When you Help an Ally, you may spend an additional Hope to gain a use of "Borrowed Knowledge" if it's been used this scene.

Unexpected Talent: If a spell used from "Borrowed Knowledge" deals damage, you may add your Sneak Attack dice to the damage.
