The Arcane-Scourged are vessels for raw magic their bodies cannot fully contain
Your Arcane Reserve limit is equal to your Spellcast Trait. After a Rest, refill your tokens reserve.
When a domain card of Spell or Grimoire type requires you to spend Hope or mark Stress, you may spend the same amount of tokens from your Arcane Reserve instead.
Your Arcane Limit is equal to 1 + half your Level (rounded down). When you use a domain card of the Spell or Grimoire type that has a level greater than your Arcane Limit, you suffer an arcane backlash. You take D10 direct damage using the card’s level minus your Arcane Limit (minimum 1 die).
