Hope Features:
Binding Jest (1 Hope): When you hit with this whip, you can choose to forgo damage to Restrain the target. While restrained, the target’s movement is 0, and they have Disadvantage on Dexterity-based rolls. You cannot use the whip for other attacks while maintaining the restraint.
Chime of Confusion (1 Hope): When you hit an enemy, the discordant bells ring out. You may force the target to subtract your Agility score from their next Attack Roll.
Passive Feature (Slapstick Trip): If you use the Ribbet Powerful Legs trait to leap away from a target you just hit, you may spend 1 Fear (or a successful finesse roll) to knock that target Prone as you push off of them.
The Tangled Web (2 Hope): Perform a Ranged attack with the Snap-Back Needle. On a hit, use the Leapfrog movement to fly past the target. As you pass, you may make an immediate Binding Jest roll with the Laughing Viper at no additional Hope cost to leave the enemy tangled as you land safely in the distance.
