About this weapon

The Dual Pistols are just two pistols. The idea behind the Split Shot feature is as follows: Say you get this at level 2, with a Proficiency of 2. This means you can target 2 creatures with a single attack, but each damage roll is 1d8+4, since you’re splitting your shot (hence the name). And then if you upgrade this for Tier 3 with a Proficiency of 3, you can attack 3 people. Or you can still attack 2 people, and deal 2d8+8 (or whatever you think the Tier 3 automatic damage would be) to one, and 1d8+8 to the other. Or you can just attack one person, and they take the full force of the attack. It’s a little complex, but I think it’s a fun dynamic.
