No AI-Generated Artwork or Content Allowed for Sale
To uphold the value of genuine artistry, we do not allow AI-generated artwork or imagery to be submitted or sold on our platform. This includes, but is not limited to:
- AI-generated illustrations, character portraits, maps, or scene art.
- Images created primarily with tools or models trained to generate art using artificial intelligence.
- Other forms of AI-generated content—such as entirely AI-written adventures or character writeups—are also subject to review and may not be permitted if they fail to demonstrate significant original human authorship.
Responsible Use of AI for Ideation and Drafting
We recognize that AI can be a helpful tool for brainstorming, ideation, and refining your original text. Many creators use AI-powered tools to assist with grammar, inspiration, or idea development.
However, over-reliance on AI—such as submitting products that are largely or entirely generated by AI—is not allowed.
If you use AI as part of your creative process, ensure your final product reflects your own unique perspective, voice, and effort. The spirit of Heart of Daggers (and to a large extent, Daggerheart) is to support human creativity above all else.
How We Detect and Enforce This Policy
We know it’s not always easy to tell when content was made by AI. To help maintain a fair environment:
Manual Review
Every product listed on Heart of Daggers is reviewed by our team for compliance.
Automated Detection
We have developed algorithms and detection systems to flag possible AI-generated images and text for further inspection. A human (our team) always has the final say when determining an outcome.
Community Reporting
If you suspect a product violates this policy, please report it to our team.
Products found to contain prohibited AI-generated artwork or content will be removed, and repeat or intentional violations may result in account suspension and/or permanent bans.

Our policy reflects the values of the TTRPG community and our belief that artists and writers deserve recognition and fair compensation for their work.
