About this ancestry
Wulfen resemble anthropomorphic canines with furred bodies, the ears and tails of wolves or dogs, and a keen sense of smell.
They often move hunched over or on all fours, though they typically range between 4 and 6 feet in height when standing up straight. The appearance of wulfen can resemble any type of canine, from untamed wolves and jackals to specific dog breeds. Some lack the feral appearance of the rest of their kin and appear almost humanlike, though all wulfen have the ears, tail, and keen sense of smell typical for their kind. A common belief is that wulfen lose more and more of their ancestors' beastly features the more generations live far from nature.
Wulfen are social folk with a strong bend towards community and unity, and so they have a natural knack for teamwork. Even when they end up as loners, wulfen seek companionship and are always eager to help others, even strangers.
