About this ancestry

Mamuut are large humanoids that resemble elephantids of all kinds.

They are massive, barrel-chested folk towering over 7 feet in height, with thick, leathery skin and powerful bodies capable of feats of great strength. Like the elephants and mammoths they resemble, they have massive heads, a prehensile trunk they use in everyday life, and a pair of tusks which they can use in battle or to trample foes. Their skins range in the shades of gray, brown, or pink, and they may have ears that are small or large. While some have leathery skin, others are covered in fur from head to toe.

Despite their imposing appearance and terrifying strength, mamuut are often serene and peaceful individuals embodying the "gentle giant" trope, as few creatures can challenge their size enough to make them show aggression. They move with weight and gravitas, speak slowly but wisely, and often invite the awe of those around them simply with their presence.
