About this ancestry
Fenekki are vulpine humanoids with large triangular ears, fluffy tails, and slit-shaped pupils.
They stand at about 4-6 feet, though their long flexible ears often make them appear taller. The colors of their fur and their physical characteristics resemble those of real fox species and they change their coat with the seasons in much the same way, having a thicker coat in winter and a thinner, more slick one in summer. While fenekki can appear more fox-like or more human depending on their heritage, their animal ears, bushy tail, and vertical slit-shaped pupils are a constant feature of their kind. Their sharp intuition and sense for danger are also never dull.
Fenekki are often seen as vain because of the obsessive care and effort they put into maintaining their tails, though this care also makes them appear much more approachable and alluring. Combined with their cunning and inherent talent for getting their way via wordplay alone, it makes fenekki extremely adept at talking their way into important positions and out of dangerous situations.
