About this ancestry
Vermil resemble anthropomorphic rodents, most noticeable in their ears and the size of their incisors.
They are diminutive folk, averaging around 2-4 feet in height, though some can grow taller and larger. They can have the appearance of virtually any rodent, with their fur typically being black, white, or a shade of brown and gray. Their ears are expressive, twitching with excitement or anxiety. The Vermil's most notable feature are their large incisors. Like those of actual rodents, these teeth never stop growing and are tough enough to chew through most materials.
Vermil are hyperactive people full of energy. Restless and never slowing down, they are always on the move chasing dreams, goals, and ambitions, trying to make the most out of their 50 or so years of life. Stagnation is what vermil fear the most and so they constantly seek to liven up their environment, spread joy, and find a purpose.

Large Incisors: Given enough time, you can chew through any material that is softer than your teeth, such as wood. If you make an ability roll to chew through a material susceptible to your teeth, you can mark a Stress to roll a d20 as your Hope die.
Scamper: You ignore negative effects imposed by rough or difficult terrain.
