Peelies a species of anthropomorphic bananas from a strange reality inhabited by their species. There have been many stand out members over the years, including the original Peely, Lil Whip, and Adventurer Peely. Peelies are divided into 4 internal layers: Peel, banana meat, skeleton, and organs. Peelies can apparently remove their peel without any complications to life afterwards as seen with Beach Peely and Lil Whips. This suggests the peel itself is merely a secondary outer layer and has no actual bearing on one's health, though one should watch for spotting and bruising of both inner and outer banana. It seems they are able to survive even after lethal damage reduces them to mush, as seen with a Peelie smoothie piloting a robotic body- this same mush can harden into equipment that lasts a short time. It is currently unknown if the banana portion is edible by other humanoids. While some Peelies do not speak a language, as of late many have formed the Potasis language thanks to the Peel-osophers and a wide-spread movement to advance their culture.
