To be paired with the Ritual Binding environment. Once defeated, Ritual moves to Phase 3.
This adversary can be spotlighted up to 2 times per GM turn. Spend Fear as usual to spotlight them.
All the Corruptor's attacks are considered both physical and magical.
Fal Thaysis' standard attack targets all PCs in Close range.
Spend 2 Fear to target a PC within Close range. If that PC has no Hope, they cross off a Hope slot as their body and mind become corrupted. Have them describe how their body or mind changes. If they cross of their last Hope slot, they must make a death move.
Spend a Fear and mark a Stress to emit a scream of otherworldly despair. All PCs in Far range must roll their duality dice. If their Fear die value is higher, they lose a Hope and you gain a Fear.
Any time a Corrupted Spawn is defeated, the Corruptor becomes temporarily Restrained and Vulnerable.
When the Corruptor makes a successful attack against a PC, mark a Stress to change their Fear die to a d20 until they succeed with Hope.
When this adversary makes a successful attack against a PC, you gain a Fear.
