About this class
The world of spirits is a complicated net of relationships, between spirits, their homes and mortal lives. Shamans place themselves at the center of this net, channeling the aid of the spirit world to help their communities, for a cost, of course. For little in the spirit world is given without taking.

Spirit Debt
Whenever you would spend one or more Hope, if there are no Debt tokens on this feature, you may instead put that many debt tokens on this feature. Whenever you make an action roll with Hope, you may remove a Debt token from this feature rather than gain a Hope. Whenever you take a Rest, remove a Debt token from this feature, plus an additional debt token if it's a Long Rest. Then if you still have any Debt Tokens, the GM gains Fear equal to the amount of Debt tokens you have.
