Shadow Stalker
A sinister spirit that relentlessly pursue its target.
Motives & Tactics: Isolate, Ambush, Hunt its prey
A sinister spirit that relentlessly pursue its target.
A summoned creature with only one goal in mind; to pursue and end the life of its target set by its summoner. Masters of shadows, it revels in dark, tight places and would prove to be a worthy foe in dark corridors, tight sewers and even an open field on a moonless night.
This adversary can be spotlighted up to 3 times per GM turn. Spend Fear as usual to spotlight them.
Make an attack roll against a target within Far range. Spend a Fear for each additional target. On a success, deal 2d8+3 physical damage and you may mark a Stress to cause your targets to become restrained.
Spend a Fear for each PC in the scene, as darkness envelops everyone. Start a Progress Countdown (Fear spent) as all affected PC's are put into a Vulnerable state, as visions of their fears and nightmares take shape within the darkness. If any PC's uses their action to summon light within the darkness, they must make an action roll appropriate to the narrative.
When this adversary makes a successful attack against a PC, you gain a Fear.
When a character is about to attack you, mark a Stress to impose disadvantage on the attack.
