About this ancestry
Half-orcs are broadly humanoid but visibly shaped by orcish heritage. They tend to be tall and powerfully built, with broad shoulders, dense muscle, and heavy bone structure. Skin tones range from human hues to muted greens, grays, or ashen browns. Common features include prominent brow ridges, slightly elongated canines or tusks, coarse hair, and eyes that seem unusually sharp or intense.
Despite their intimidating appearance, half-orcs vary widely in expression and presence. Some look almost entirely human with only subtle tells; others bear unmistakable orcish traits. Scars are common, whether from hard labor, combat training, or a life that rarely afforded softness.
Their voices often carry weight—low, rough, or commanding—but this is as much cultural expectation as biology.
