Intellect Devourers are not frontline combatants. They are psychic assassins deployed ahead of Illithid forces to weaken resistance and harvest identity.

They prefer wounded, isolated, or distracted targets.

They attack quickly, disable prey psychologically, and retreat if threatened.

Use them in groups of 3–6 to create pressure and horror.

They work best alongside:

• Psionic Harvesters
• Mind Flayers
• Illithid-controlled humanoids

Intellect Devourers soften targets by suppressing Experiences, making them easier prey for Illithid domination.

They excel in:

• Ambush encounters
• Horror sequences
• Battlefield chaos
• Civilian massacres
• Stealth infiltration scenes
