Geomancer
Spell trait: InstinctMap the ley line network and command its energies
Master of Maps: You have advantage on any skill check involving navigation or wayfinding.
Ley Line Sensitivity: Once per rest you may spend a hope to open your senses to the ley line network. You may sense magical creatures, objects or spells within Close range.
Manipulate Ley Lines: At the end of a long rest put a number of tokens onto this card equivalent to your Instinct trait (minimum 1). You may spend a token to add or subtract your proficiency from one dice roll made by an ally or adversary within long range. Clear all tokens when you long rest.
Plot Permanence: You may enact feats of geomantic effort that permanently alter the landscape. Once per session you may spend three hope to cause one of the following effects:
-
- Raise the land: make a hill, rock formation or boulder, centered on yourself, in an area encompassing a very far range from yourself.
- Call the waters: create a river, pond or water feature, centered on yourself, in an area encompassing a very far range from yourself.
- Natural hut: Create a dwelling out of the land. This will have enough space for the party to rest comfortably, sheltered from the elements. Make an instinct roll on construction; any adversary with a difficulty lower than the result will be unable to find the hut.
- Fertile ground: Cause crops to grow from seedling to harvest overnight in an area centered on yourself up to very far range. This area remains especially fertile for the next year and people who spend significant time here will enjoy good health and resistance to disease.
- Salt the earth: Destroy all plant matter in an area centered on yourself up to very far range. Nothing will grow on this ground for at least one year and people who spend significant time here will sicken.
Form of the Ley Line: When in your beast form, after you complete an action, you may move to any place you can see within very far range without making an agility check. You may cast spells while in your beast form.
